Placing your first trade

Find a market, read the resolution rules, choose Yes or No, set your order type, and confirm. Then monitor, close early, or hold to resolution.

Finding a market

Browse the market feed or search for a specific topic. Tap any market to open its detail page, where you'll see the current Yes and No prices, a price history graph, a summary of the market, and the resolution rules — including the data source and the exact criteria for settlement.

Read the resolution rules before you trade. They tell you precisely what needs to happen for Yes or No to win, and which source determines the outcome.

Placing the trade

  1. Select Yes or No depending on your view.

  2. Enter the number of contracts you want to buy.

  3. Choose your order type: a market order for immediate execution at the current price, or a limit order to set the price you're willing to pay (see Order types explained).

  4. Confirm the order. The transaction fee is charged at execution (see Fees and costs).

Once filled, the position appears in your portfolio. You can monitor it, close it early, or hold it through resolution.
